A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1995, Dr. Dobbs has been practicing at our clinic since graduating, and became a partner in 2001. In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves. How does this affect you? Your nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

I went in for a simple upper back issue due to tension and possibly sleeping in the wrong position. I had to sit in a room and watch their promotional video, then get my picture taken, measured, etc. After about an hour, I finally got my back cracked which took about 30 seconds. The problem is that they want to put you on a scheduled "alignment plan". Which, honestly, is not necessary. Although, their video presentation explains that this is "required".
If you want to spend a lot of money every few weeks for your therapy, then this is the place for you. I was looking for a place that I could go to get relief when needed, not to be a constant source of income for this business. My suggestion is that if you think one visit will solve your problem, do not schedule another one until you need it. Tell them YOU will call THEM when you want to come back.

Absolutely cannot say enough about how great Dr. Dobbs is. He takes the time to listen to you and makes you feel so much better. I also love that he goes the holistic route and gives recommendations as needed. I always look forward to my appointments and being in line again! Staff is very pleasant and takes the time to find you an appointment that works with your schedule.

I love this place.! Everyone is so friendly! They have even helped me out with my kids while I was in some of my appointments. Dr Rullmann is amazing! She has done amazing for me and she's really good with kids and babies! She's helped my 3 month old son tremendously! Hands down the best chiropractor I've ever been too
