She attended Life University College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, GA, where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and has been in private practice since 1994.Dr. Marcy has been using state-of-the-art adjusting instruments to treat spinal, joint, muscular or organ-related complaints since 1987.
My husband Robert and I had the pleasure of taking a missionary trip to visit friends in a village called Senor, located three hours south of Cancun, Mexico. It's been 7 years since we last shared our ministering gifts with the native Mayans there. Our friends (who are the pastors of our church) have had a relationship with them for over 30 years, from back when they lived in Mexico near this village. For this reason, there is a long-term relationship between our friends in Senor, Quintana Roo, Mexico and our church.
Everyone is different, and you deserve an optimized treatment that is as unique as you are. Together, we will develop a strategy that will target every concern you are experiencing. We don't offer or recommend "treatment packages." Instead of predicting that you'll need 15-20 visits in the upcoming weeks, your progress is tracked on an individual basis, visit by visit.
Dr. Marcy Smurthwaite is Certified with the American Society of Laser Therapy. She was the first doctor in the Tampa Bay area to utilize non-invasive cold laser technology, a Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) treatment which shows remarkable results in treating Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, muscle and joint pain, stiffness, muscle spasm, arthritis and more.

Dr Marcy is thorough and gentle! No shoving or pushing! I'm so glad I found her. I am newly from the west coast and the first chiropractor I went to in St Pete greatly exacerbated a back injury using his drop table method utilizing way more low back thrusts than youtube indicates is normal. I was crying and writhing in pain. Dr Marcy got me right in and has taken wonderful care of me the last 4 months as I have lived through an intense recovery period. I am so thankful for her and to her!

Best chiropractor ever. Been going to her for 15 years. Dr. Marcy's method corrects the problem and provides relief. No jerking, crunching, and cracking required. Good for all ages. She corrected my scoliosis as a child, and is gentle and effective enough to help patients who are fragile with their body alignment too. 10/10 recommend her.

Dr. Marcy is the BEST! Last month when I went I was in terrible pain from my TMJ and my neck. I left feeling like I was walking on clouds. She makes you feel AMAZING!
