We specialize in Chiropractic Neurology, which is a sub-specialty of chiropractic practice. Our doctors have been practicing Chiropractic Neurology since 1996, and are certified with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. The ACNB defines the chiropractic neurologist as someone who uses your body and the environment and the technique of adjustment to bring about improvements in your health. The chiropractic neurologist uses the muscular skeletal system as it interacts with the neurological system to improve your quality of life.
Chiropractic Neurology is a scientifically based field of natural health care that centers on repairing the nervous system and eliminating pain for both children and adults. Dr. Allen begins with a thorough examination and uses neurological findings to create a physiological change in the nervous system to regulate muscle tone, joint movement and bring balance to all functions of the body.
Allen Chiropractic Neurology offers diagnosis and treatment for a wide variety of conditions as well as preventative care. Dr. Allen also offers referrals and second opinions when the standard of care or a particular case study is in question. She is committed to helping her patients achieve and maintain optimum health and wellness.
Dr. Allen uses a variety of testing systems to identify loss of function and to validate changes during the course of treatment. One such test is blind-spot mapping or measurement of the natural blind spot in each eye. These blind spots are not perceived in normal vision as each eye compensates for the other.
