I woke up at 6:00 am to get downtown for a 7:00 am appointment. Instructions said to knock on the door at my scheduled time. I waited in my car until 6:59 and got out to shuffle some things and walk to the door to knock. Dr. Kiehlur walks up and opens the door. "Do you have a phone on you?" he says with no greeting. "Yeah, " I say. "What time does it say it is on that phone?" I pull it out and see that it's still 6:59, and I tell him as much. "And what time did we ask you to be here?

At 6:59 or 7:00?" By this point obviously I'm so confused that I can't really process the choices this man has made to introduce himself to me. He could have simply said "Be with you in a minute" but chose rather to, I don't know, try to make me look like a moron instead? So I asked him, "Why are you talking to me like I'm a child?" He raises his voice and says, "We do things very exact here and." Note that by the time he's saying this, it's easily 7:00. ".You know what? Fine. I'll just cancel your appointment." "Uh, I was 30 seconds early.

What the f*ck is wrong with you? I've never been yelled at for being early to a doctor's office, definitely not 30 seconds early alone." Yes, I probably elevated things with the F bomb, but I'm a stickler for truth in storytelling. And this was the most bewildering exchange I've had in years. Maybe ever. The doctor shouted. "It's f*cking COVID dude! I've got three people back here!" He was not wearing a mask, by the way. "How is me getting here 30 seconds later going to have an impact on COVID safety?" "WE DO THINGS VERY EXACT HERE!" I backed away and said, "Learn some f*cking bedside manner." "Get f*cked, b*tch, " shouted the good doctor as I got into my car. Avoid this place like the plague.

Dr. Joe is great! Very attentive and charismatic with everything. Would definitely recommend!

He plays nice until you ask for your money back. I had to hire an attorney who scheduled a court date and once the doctor got served then he returned my money. (It was a lot of money.) If you are in need of treatment I suggest going elsewhere. *PS They don't know how to properly decompress their hyperbaric chamber. Stay safe and stay away.

Dr. Kielur is by far the best Chiropractor that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. His knowledge, professionalism, humor, and the attentive staff far surpassed my expectations from the very beginning up until this very day. His equipment is state of the art, the environment is soothing and relaxed, and he goes out of his way to make the space clean and safe during these times.

He custom-tailors your therapy program to fit your specific needs, and doesn't just give you a couple simple adjustments and send you on your merry way. Whenever I hear ANYONE complain about their back, I suggest this man without a second thought!

Dr Joe is extremely good at his profession. Up front, honest and knows what he is talking about.

STAY AWAY! Not only did he insist on an X-ray when I had muscle tension, he didn't even cover me with a lead apron while taking an X-ray of my lower back! He's also a scam because he won't submit anything to your insurance so you pay the full amount upfront. He also left me along for 45 minutes while he put me on a machine that did nothing and charged me for it.

And to boot, he didn't give my ID back and I spent days calling around and looking for it and he didn't even bother to call me and let me know he had it. He just figured I'd come back sometime to get it as if you know where you lose something.

I have been to several chiropractors in the past and Dr. Joe is the first one to sit down and explain to me what was actually going on. He took his time going over x-rays, my treatment plan, and discussed the specific interventions he plans to use. I have never really known what my problem was until now, and I am truly grateful for his expertise and how much time he puts in to his patients. It was such a relief to finally see the whole picture and I would highly recommend!

I am 6 months pregnant so I was super skeptical about going to see a chiropractor since i've never seen one but my lower back pain became unbearable. After doing my research I chose to go see Doc @ Mass Ave. He put me at ease, (being pregnant and worried) made sure I felt super comfortable and was friendly. More relaxing environment than I had honestly expected also. If I continue to have issues he's my go to! Definitely recommend!

Dr. Joe Kielur is all inclusive, comprehensive, homeopathic, all natural, and all encompassing Chiropractor, my wife and I have been searching for. His background in boxing and MMA was an indication for us to trust him. He understands how the body works and more importantly understands the appropriate procedure in the healing that needs to take place.

Modern western medicine definitely has its place, but if you want someone who's mission is holistic healing, Dr. k is your guy. I started college studying western medicine in college but realized it was incomplete. After visiting multiple chiropractic offices and speaking with other unsatisfied professionals and former athletes who needed better treatment, my wife and I have found Dr. K has not only improved our post-athletic ailments and quality of life, he is restoring us to our late-teen, early twenties selves. His honest, no BS, approach has been what we have been searching for. Call him immediately.

In the past I have had intermittent tension headaches that became chronic at the beginning of this year. After just dealing with it I finally decided to see a chiropractor. I knew a couple of people who have had good results at Mass Ave Chiropractic, so decided to go there, plus the location is very convenient. Since going I have had so much relief from this chronic issue and it keeps improving!

The decompression machine, along with the other treatments, has made such a difference for me! There's also the fact that his hours make it possible for me to schedule treatments without having to interrupt my work. Dr. Joe is a kind and caring person who truly wants to help you improve your health.

Joe is an amazing person and healer. I went in expecting a simple adjustment, in and out. What I got was so much better. He relaxed my body first with two massage machines that I laid on, hooked me up to a muscle stimulation machine and then adjusted me with so much precision. I felt so good after and that rarely happens for me while I'm on tour and trying different chiropractors constantly.

It's the following day, and I still feel great. My chronic back pain was helped significantly from this session. I wish I lived in the area because he is truly a master at what he does and I would come in regularly! Thank you Joe. I hope to come back one day!

I have suffered with lower back pain for the past 20 years and have been through all kinds of therapy and chiropractic treatments. I have never experienced anything like Dr. Kielur's approach. He is hands on and "over the top" accommodating to his patient's treatment plan. He is dedicated and committed to his patients in helping them feel better. His schedule is flexible and will come in early in the morning, after 5PM, and on weekends to get you on the path to feeling better.

The atmosphere is also relaxing with "spa like" music and the lighting is a little dim to help you relax. I definitely recommend Dr. Kielur and Mass Ave Chiropractic for anyone who needs chiropractic care. You won't find another doctor who cares so much about helping you and willing to invest in top of the line equipment to make that happen.

Dr. Joe is easily the best chiropractor in town. I really appreciate his down to earth practice. Every aspect of this office is extremely professional. Dr Joe is hands down the best Chiropractor in the city of Indianapolis. He will make you feel at ease and will a sass the issue and do it right the first time. His professionalism and attention to detail is what you need in a chiropractor kudos Dr Joe!

Going to this chiropractor was a mistake. After being adjusted and assessed, I went to pay and they informed me that they would not be running my insurance. But I can submit a claim on my own with my insurance after the appointment. $150 for one adjustment. ONE. They then proceeded to "car sales me" but telling me I could get 4 adjustments for $500, if I purchase them up front. - I'm sorry, but did I go see a doctor or go to a furniture store? Never again.

I had heard great things about Dr. Joe - from his professionalism and knowledge to his down to earth personality that makes everyone around him feel at ease, so when a friend referred me, I decided to make an appointment. I've been to several chiropractors and had a wide array of experiences, but more than a medical practitioner, Dr. Joe has a giant heart and cares about his patients' well being as well as their physical health.

I entered the office and immediately felt at ease. There is appropriate soft mood lighting to compliment the urban interior and he had soft soothing music playing. He explained the medical procedures in easy-to-understand language that made me feel comfortable. If you're looking for a chiropractor who has experience, knowledge of integrative healing therapies, and can put it into terms for you to understand - go see Dr. Joe - I guarantee you will leave happy.

Dr. Joe has treated my brother, his wife, myself, and many of my friends. He is so generous and helpful. He has really helped my back and has gone above and beyond the "normal" appointment because it was what I needed. Is super accommodating with my schedule and has free parking at a mass ave location. He is the best!

Dr. knows his stuff. Excellent service. He has help me with stopping pain in my front left shoulder. Good service - great Doctor.

Scam artist. Told me he would "fix" me, awkward. Doc was nowhere to be found after initial appointment. He would hang out in basement because he was more concerned with mma, than "fixing" me. Please do not waste your money or trust this man.

Gotta love "Doc" Kielur -- Great place to go to help correct back or neck pain. If your in any public safety field "doc" is the guy we all go to to help our backs after being bent out of shape by the weight of our duty belts. He really takes care of our public servants - THANK YOU "DOC"
