Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your nervous system controls the function of virtually every cell, tissue, organ, and system of your body. Nervous system dysfunction, caused by the misaligned bones of the spine can be a common cause of ill health. This is called a subluxation. A subluxation is a condition that occurs when a vertebra or group of vertebra misalign to the extent that they cause an interference to the tiny nerve fibers that travel through the spinal column.A subluxation may produce just about any symptom you can imagine, yet often times has no symptoms at all.

Laser therapy is the non-invasive use of laser energy to generate a photochemical response in damaged or dysfunctional tissue. Laser energy increases blood circulation, drawing oxygen and nutrients to the damaged area. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness and pain.
Laser Therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light (red and near infrared) to create therapeutic effects. These effects include improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling. Most lasers on the market today in the USA have a power range from 5mw to 500mw, making them a cold laser.
Most chronic degenerative diseases result from confusion of the body's immune system in which the immune system can't tell the difference between our self' tissue, and foreign invaders to the body. The result is that the immune system attacks our own tissue. The "foreign invaders" may be substances that trigger an allergic response, or it may be microorganisms.
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy re-energizes damaged cells by inducing electrical changes within the cell that restore it to it's normal healthy state. Because of this, cellular metabolism is boosted, blood cells are regenerated, circulation is improved and oxygen carrying capacity is increased.

Kathy has been wonderful! A beautiful person inside and out. She's helped both my husband & myself over the past year. He with his neck & shoulder pain, me with my back pain. She's affordable compared with Marin pricing. and not the kind of Chiropractor who has you sign up for 3 days a week for the rest of your life (unless you need that).

She gets to the root of the issue quickly and offers immediate relief. You return when you feel you need to. Her front office staff is super friendly and helpful. A special shout out to her assistant, Cam, he's always professional and kind. We highly recommend O'Conner Chiropractic!

To be quite honest. She never helped me with my back issues. I think it was because she used to do a lot of drinking back in the Mario & John's days. Maybe I caught her hungover. She had no problems taking my money but I would still walk out of the office with back pain. Oh well, what's done is done.

Dr. O'Connor is a wonderful doctor. Her technique is state-of-the-art as is her equipment. She received her training from one of the best chiropractors in the world. She's a great communicator and very caring. She is at the top of my Rolodex for great doctors. If you are looking for a doctor of chiropractic she is the one! I have been a doctor for 28 years and refer to her with the highest confidence.

This lady has helped me out so much already. She is awesome. She is one of the rare doctors these days that listens to your ailments without making assumptions. She has almost entirely fixed the issue, and due to her care and expertise, I am back to working out and am almost back to my normal routine. She is one of the rare excellent doctors out there whose care for her patients is obvious.

If you are lucky enough to come across this review, stop your search. Give her a call right now. She will easily be the best Chiro you've ever seen if not the best doctor ever. If you have ever seen a better doctor, regardless of field of practice, please let me know immediately, because doctors like her are one in a million!

My job for 30+ years is desk bound and computer oriented. Dr. O'Connor has assisted me with minor adjustments over the years and acute care after I was rear ended at full speed on highway 101. Dr. O'Connor is professional, educated and has superior listening skills which I deem to be critical in a Dr./patient relationship. She has met me after working hours and on weekends, and her staff is on top of everything from scheduling to insurance billing.this is a kind office, quick with a smile and always putting patient well being above their own. I would recommend Dr. O'Connor to anyone.

I travel a lot, lifting suitcases and cases of wine on a regular basis so I have to see Dr. Kathy for occasional emergencies. Dr. Kathy has come in on Saturday's to adjust me! I do tune-ups with her when I can so as not to have the emergencies. She takes the time and makes sure to adjust all of my joints that need help. Her office staff is always friendly and very professional. So thanks Dr. Kathy for your professional and educated opinions and making my back and shoulders feel much better every time.

Was treated like a piece of meat. its all about money for this place and how much of it they can extort from you. i was pre booked and pre charged for appointments as if to keep me coming back, all the while being pitched after each and every treatment to buy more of this and that despite already having such items. what a joke. money, money, money. complimentary xrays were not provided as represented, instead was charged. i was in really bad shape and unfortunately treatment made me worse, much worse. find another or at least get another opinion before dealing w this place. I was also misdiagnosed. and its way overpriced. i'd give it zero stars if i could. don't waste your time, find another.

Very disappointed this morning after being pushed aside for a regular customer of hers. I don't expect to be pampered just because I'm a new customer but I also don't expect to be treated like that either. After coming in 15 minutes early to fill out all the paperwork and waiting 40 minutes until after my appointment time I was pushed back for someone that needed to get home to Skype someone else.

The problem came when I wasn't asked if that was ok. Needless to say I wasn't about to wait for that. Sorry but I still believe in customer service. Update: After being contacted by Ms O'Connor I want to let everyone know that she went above my expectations to try to correct the issue I had at her office the other day. I do believe that she feels that customer service is as important as I do.

I believe also that owning up to a mistake shows great charecter and wisdom. I know that what happened was not directly her fault and do not blame her for it. Thank you Kathy for the effort in making me feel like customer service is still alive out there.

I have been a patient of Kathy's since 1999. I sought her out after having a painful experience with another chiropractor. Over the years Kathy has been able to adjust all my aches and pains. I am over 60 and because of her care I can still flex my body as I did in my 20s. I can still touch my toes and also pull my head between my legs. I am a very active person and so with ever fall or accident, my pain has been short lived because of her care.

Last year I broke my fibia and had to be in a wheel chair for over 3 mos. Kathy adjusted me regularly and throughout my rehab I have been pain free. I am back to all my normal activities and am looking forward to Ski season. Kathy's skill and most of all her caring nature are a gift to her patients. She takes a personal interest in each and every one of her patients.

I'm elated with the treatment I've received at this office. They have really helped my symptoms, and I've seen many different doctors over the last 3 years who weren't able to help. Dr. Kathy's combination of skill, technology and knowledge have helped me feel better than I have in a long time. A very caring office. Thank you ladies!

I started seeing Kathy after I experienced severe pain in my neck, upper back and hips. I have 2 small children and the wear and tear of motherhood has taken a toll on my body. I tried Kathy as a recommendation from my husband's co-worker. I have been diagnosed with occipital neuralgia in the past and has effected my neck & head for sometime.

To make a long story short, the adjustments were fine - although, I was left bruised from several adjustments. The electronic gun adjuster is like a jackhammer on your bones. It's painful depending on the level it's set at. The appointments are very expensive. In one month, I spent nearly $1000. I haven't been back in months as it's too far and expensive for me to travel 3 times per week - which is what Kathy was suggesting for "maintenace". They don't bill insurance. It's just a hassel and I have experienced better. I am terribly sorry for the man who is permanently injured from his adjustment.

IT ONLY HURTS WHEN I'M AWAKE I saw Kathy regularly for over three years, during which time she managed to move minor pains around but never really got me "adjusted" according to her measurements--sometimes the violent nature of the Palmer system table she uses would leave me sore for days. Finally my luck ran out and she damaged my hip on that table beyond any chiropractor's ability to repair and gave me pain all day, every day, so that I cannot live a normal life.

She never seemed to appreciate the extent of the disability she gave me even after months of making the same complaint during sessions. Only surgery will repair what she did to me: don't press your luck, don't be as ignorant and naive as I was, thinking that some discomfort was a normal part of chiropractic, that whatever damage a chiropractor could do to you would be minor and/or repairable by a chiropractor, or thinking that once you've been damaged you have an expectation of responsible follow-up through whatever remedy is required.

Even just an apology would have been nice, but an orthopedic referral should have been the minimum next step after all she could do was not enough to fix what she did. It is no exaggeration to say that Kathy gave me a handicap, that she made my life much worse, that she ultimately was either obtuse or chose to behave that way to avoid making amends for her error. Maybe I wasn't the first, here's hoping you won't be the next.
