I initially came here seeking treatment for myself, then subsequently scheduled for my husband and on occasion my kids. Everyone in the office is wonderful and scheduling/rescheduling is super easy to do since they have an entire front office staff and text messaging. My husband is a big guy and Dr. Leo is the first Chiropracter that has been able to thoroughly adjust him. I've always been happy with my adjustments and feel super thankful to have Dr. Leo and Courtney in our area.

We love coming to Chiropractic Life Center! Great atmosphere and staff! Dr. Leo and Dr. Courtney and the ladies at the desk make you feel very welcome and at ease!

It was my first time at the Chiropractic Life Center, and will not be my last. I have been in pain 24/7, stemming from a (R) knee injury. My kneecap has been compressed for 6 weeks. Though, one session cannot "fix" everything, I feel aligned and now can bend my knee past the 45 degree threshold I've been stuck at for weeks. After the adjustment, I feel the back/hip pain alleviated. Dr. Leo spoke through the misalignment and educated me on the current standings of my body. Much appreciated and highly recommend this practice.

Every time i cal the office they are so kind and always prioritize getting my kids in to be seen. The drs are calm and patient as my daughter is timid about getting adjusted still. They explain things at her level to walk her through it and genuinely care for their patients. I make the 50 minute commute to the office because i know my kids are in the best hands receiving the best care. They are not rushing through the visit and really take the time to adjust their patients throughly. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Leo and Dr Courtney!

Chiropractic life center is so much more than a chiropractic center! First, as an athlete I lead 6mile hikes for guests where I worked. I had to hike fast for the lead and lay 85 laminated arrows for my hikers to follow with a 12 lb. Pack. My spine was kinda curved to the right from 5 years/3x's a week repetitive process. It wasn't until I was rear ended that I had an X-ray to see the misalignment.

Within 90 days my spine from L-C were back dramatically. I told Dr. Leo to put my X-rays up for everyone to see. At first I didn't think I could afford the treatment, the staff educated me in my rights and insurance paid for it. The care these Doctors give me is so beyond my Kaiser primary care I had anxiety from a horrific experience, it caused stress on my Vegas Nerve, BP was 65/52, went to Kaiser as an athlete the nurses said I was fine even though I was extremely weak with GI & breathing issues.

I went back to Dr. Leo, he educated me on my Vegas Nerve and treated my symptoms. Made full recovery! So, when my brother was beaten up, his ribs dislocated I brought Chris to Dr. Leo. The high tech devises used to diagnosis was impressive! The most impressive was with Dr. Courtney & Dr. Leo's guidance Chris lost 60lbs. in 60 days! I had to buy him all new clothes! Chris twirled and said, I feel like I'm 25yrs. and completely pain free! He is actually 56yrs. and felt 75 before treatment. Amazing! A must if you have any health issues. Lacey Bove'

Have had chronic pain in my rib cage for close to three years. Have seen doctors, taken PT, and lots of pain pills. Nothing has helped. One visit an Dr. Lea knew what it was and moved two ribs that were out of place. He is my hero! and I will see him again and again! I am so grateful!

From thr moment I heard a real person on the phone I was impressed. Leah the receptionist was friendly and extremely professional. The practice came highly recommended by a close friend, and I cannot speak highly enough about my experience.

I had been up all night with excruciating shoulder pain and I was able to get in this morning to see Dr. Leo and it was literally the best adjustment I've ever had. I walked out of there 20 min later feeling like a new woman and the pain I came in with was no longer. The office is a great space and Leah at the front desk is such a pleasant and kind woman that was extremely welcoming. Very grateful to have found this family owned and run chiropractic office.

Do not come here if you are wanting to bill your insurance for their services! I chose this location after selecting one that was covered in my insurances network. They will lie to you and tell you that you have a high deductible plan so they need to collect payment up front and that they will bill your insurance later. They will then turn around and refuse to bill your insurance later on after already collecting your payment, saying that you will never meet your deductible. Well, my 4 month old son has to have a medical procedure that will put me way past my deductible and these crooks still won't bill my insurance for the medical services they provided, because they don't want to pay for the fees associated with billing my insurance.

I now have to pay thousands of extra dollars for my sons procedure. These people care more about their own profits than taking care of their patients. These are the types of people that should be avoided at all costs in any healthcare related field. They don't care if they screw you over, as long as they make an extra buck off you that's all that matters. Don't be fooled by the good reviews, they are all for the previous owners. Not a single one for Dr. Meltvedt. I wonder why?

They are the best, they take the time to really understand what is going on with your body and make sure to fix it. They really care and do a great job. Everyone in the office is so caring and friendly. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door.

Dr. Leo is an amazing Chiropractic Doctor. He provides care for the whole body, mentally, physically and emotionally. His sense of humor lifts your spirits to the moon and back. Everytime I leave the office, my body feels like it has been restored and revived back to health through a great adjustment. The office staff is top notch providing such loving, compassionate service. A visit to Dr. Leo's is always a highlight of my week.

You Win some and loose some. I wish these good folk would of listened to my concerns more. I found them due to my Chiropractor being on vacation and my knee all off a sudden was in intense pain. After nice x-rays of every bone but my knee bone they wanted to see me 2 xs per week for 12 weeks because I was Soooo outta alignment. After 4 wacko sessions I stopped.

They were very nice in giving me my money back. Thank you. Today I got an MRI and found that I had a "Complex tear involving the posterior horn of the meniscus". I hope that all their pulling, banging and slapping of my knee did not cause more tearing. I wish them well. Dr. Paul sold his business to them and is no longer in this area.

Dr. Val is awesome! I highly recommend her to all my friends. She is very precise in her chiropractic treatment, going after all those problem areas all the while addressing those new aches and pains too. She's super conscientious about getting your body aligned and feeling better. She is very caring, friendly, courteous and very professional.

It started with a precious "gift" of health, a surprise from a friend, who had listened to my plea for help. I embraced this opportunity, and from the very first step into their office's, I was surrounded by a healing vibration. Into my life steps, Dr Leo and Dr. Courtney, where it all begins. Almost 2 years ago, I received a diagnosis from several doctors that the end result would be to take medication, followed by back surgery, to correct my problem. (Due to an unrelated surgery a year before, my spine was affected and all went horribly wrong). Me, not believing in these methods of correction, not that as individuals we all fit into text book molds, I was determined to get relief any way possible.

Upon my first meeting It was refreshing to be told I could be helped, but do admit, long term care did not pair well with a impatient personality, such as myself, and I had been in pain 24/7 for months. However, the mere relief that one day I would be whole again, and out of pain was "hope". Understanding that there are no quick fixes, It has taken the skills of Dr. Leo, and the dedication to my health that has allowed me to gain not only improvement, but a positive attitude, plenty of education, and can say I am on a road to a progressively great outcome.

I have found a true healer in Dr. Leo at Chiropractic Life Center. He believes in the power of positivity, and possess the skills of natural healing. I still have steps to climb, but I can sincerely say that I have am climbing that mountain and want to get to the top, and I will not be alone My life is brighter now, and with more mobility, I am pain free.

Love it. the people are very nice and professional. The waiting area is clean and nice. Each time I visit I feel welcomed. I would recommend to all my friends.

I've known Dr. Leo for a few years and he, in my opinion is very straightforward and communicates clearly. I have come to appreciate that and find myself drawn to his practice. I have had a few life altering moments that he was able to get me adjusted and give perspective in a timely manner. He and his staff has made a positive lasting impression on me with how much he and his staff care for each person that walks through the doors.

Dr. Leo is a relatively nice guy and I like how he had me combine a bicep curl with a shoulder press. I think that made my muscles a bit stronger. That's where the positivity in this review ends. I came here for chronic migraines and headaches as my symptoms for pretty bad. But after each adjustment, I did about 8 over a few weeks, I noticed my pain increase significantly.

That was the opposite of what was intended; I also think the tools the office uses for measuring inflammation in the spine have been more or less disproven by the medical field. Furthermore, he sold me a turmeric supplement that was marked up by three times over what you get at grocery stores because it was coated in fat that would make it stay in your system for 8 hours. Supposedly, the ones from grocery stores only last 1-3 hours.

I was more and more motivated to leave when the adjustments kept increasing the frequency and intensity of the headaches and when I was told to do a silly questionable wobble treatment. After stopping chiropractic treatments, my headaches generally decreased in frequency and intensity and I was able to do more. The final straw was when I had told Dr. Leo not to crack my neck so intensely as it caused immense pain and headaches but he did it anyway. Sayonara to chiropractic treatment for me!

I love coming here! The customer service is phenomenal and their goal is to help you live a healthier life! I have been going for months and seen great results! I came in barley able to walk and am now able to work out 5 times a week!

All those who work in this office is inviting, positive, relaxed and great at what they do. The doctors can cure any back, shoulder, spine etc imaginable! It's terrific to be able to just lie back, relax and enjoy their special "treatment" with no apprehension what so ever! Oh yes Dr. Leo is quite the comedian. you'll enjoy is well-crafted jokes! This is a healthy environment, you'll feel that the minute you walk in the door.

I had been going to this practice for several years under the previous ownership, on and off from 2017-2019. Many people whose opinion I trusted swore by him, but I honestly never felt a significant difference - neither immediate relief after an adjustment nor gradual improvement over time. The treatments took the edge off a little but that was about it. Drs. Leo and Courtney Meltvedt took over the practice last year, and I decided to give Dr. Leo a try yesterday after 2 months of debilitating, chronic neck pain.

I felt like my head was jammed down into my neck, causing pain, headaches, and general fatigue, fogginess and grumpiness. First, as a former scientist, I was impressed with the number of independent, objective diagnostic tools he utilized to assess my spinal health. Second, I was surprised at the number and variety of techniques he used to treat me - several of which I was unfamiliar with, despite having gone to many chiropractors over the years (I'm 58).

And best of all, I had immediate relief. It hasn't held 100% but enough that I have many moments of no pain or discomfort at all, and I can definitely see light at the end of the tunnel. I'd say it's down to 25-30% of where it was. Lastly, I wasn't bombarded with a sales pitch - to buy a package of treatments, supplements or fulcrums. I feel like I'm in great hands and looking forward to balance, and health, and relief!

Amazing chiropractor. Dr. Leo is excellent. Highly recommend. Update: it just gets better and better. Dr. Leo and Dr. Courtney are so skilled, knowledgeable and compassionate. These people are incredible. I went in 6 weeks ago in so much pain. The woman at the front were so kind as they took me back to see Dr Laura for an exam. I was hysterically crying because I had zero hope. I had lost my job due to my injury and was at a loss. All they did was listen and try and calm me. Lea, even filled out my intake for me because I was such a mess.

Then Dr Laura can in and examined me. She made me feel that there was hope. The next few days I saw Dr john Paul to go over my X-ray and he saw exactly what the problem was. He guaranteed they could help. After the first two weeks pain was at a minimal. I have continued to go and it feels as more of a healing center and family them a regular chiropractic office.

The doctors and staff exceeded my expectations The new healers here are fantastic! We all will miss Dr John and Dr Laura. They are a very unique and empathetic duo. But now we have Dr Leo and Dr Courtney! Fantastic! I've been with Dr Courtney several times now and she does an entirely different routine and I absolutely love it! Dr Leo did some adjustments I wasn't familiar with as well and it was incredible! I will continue to be a patient at this amazing healing center.

I've been going to Drs John Paul and Lara Condon for as long as they've been in practice, I think. Many years anyway. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my neck, which has some fairly serious issues as a result of accidents. Without chiropractic, my neck would have very little range of motion and I'd be in pain all the time; with it I'm virtually pain free and have full range of motion.

Those times when I'm busy and get caught up in life, I realize that it's been a while since I had an adjustment because my body reminds me! The staff is professional and welcoming. Leah is always a bright and cheerful presence. Not all chiropractors are created equal. It's important to find someone who has the necessary expertise, education and willingness to listen to your body and apply safe practices. Thank goodness for Chiropractic Life Center.

I've been a client of Dr. John Paul's for around 6 months and am so happy with how improved my low back issues are. I can sleep peacefully without my back pain waking me/forcing me to shift positions. I wake up and am able to swing right out of bed with minimal moans and groans. And I can put on my pants standing up/balanced on one leg without back spasms causing me to fall over! (you gotta have back issues to relate maybe).

All the staff is very welcoming/pleasant and I must mention Leah at the desk who always greets clients with a warm smile and very helpful when I need to adjust my appointments. I recommend highly!

Met the Doctor at a booth beforehand at the Half Marathon in Encinitas. Got briefly consulted at the booth and very impressed. Did a follow up appointment because it had been 10+ years since my last Chiro appointment and it was amazing. The receptionist is super friendly and great about reminding for appointments. The doctor was a true professional and I'll definitely be coming back!

Dr Condon is my personal chiropractor to keep my body functioning at optimal levels to keep up in life and to help me serve my patients. I am very selective as a chiropractor myself, I look for compassion, integrity, focus, health and leadership, all of which Dr Condon offers!

I've been seeing Dr JP for 8 years - he and Dr Lara are the best chiropractors I've ever had the pleasure of working with. They have helped fix my back pain after years of playing college tennis and flying with the military for the past 13 years. I met Dr. John Paul in many years ago. about 2005 at an event he was having at a street fair. After talking I decided to have a visit and eventually a correction. Wow! what a way improve my all around well being. I had some neck and back pains from a damaged disc and he was able to relieve the pain and over time the disc we have found has somewhat regenerated. His hard work ethic and really nicely upgraded center has been a perfect way fro me to increase my mobility. Much can be gained by just one visit. Go for it!

Dr. John is the Man! Before your first crack they really do their homework to asses what's wrong with you! They did X-rays and all! I've been going for a couple months now and I ALREADY feel better! I can't say that I will ever stop going here. I have been coming since 2013. Dr Laura and Dr John Paul have been so great to my whole family. I have 4 kids 11-4 in age. The kids were nervous for the first visit, the extra time spent to talk with them and be gentle with them ask to come back: I have had mild lower back pain and headaches for years.

I don't have that anymore! When I stop going for a few weeks I feel it, and when I go back I feel the relief of my back relaxing back into where it should be. I came here and loved the energy. The positive staff and the welcoming love of the dr's.

They have posters and models that show how a bone out of place can screw you up in ways that you would not expect. Dr. John Condon gets in there and moves your bones around to help improve your health. A little traction here, activation there, some snaps and cracks to move things into alignment can make a huge difference. Visualize an hourglass and only a certain amount of sand can get through the glass at one time. Subluxations cause the body to break down because they cut off the nutrients that you need for health.

Sometimes we have a little pain bothering us and think, I can live with it. But the pain does not go away and we start to deteriorate and just cope with it. Right? It is so easy to do nothing! Do you take prescriptions or over the counter drugs? If so you might just be masking the symptoms that your body is sending you. What would your life be without relying on drugs?

In the initial consultation you get to sit down with the doctor and learn what is going on. Each vertebrae in the spine affects parts of your body. He will tell you if the subluxations are compromising your kidneys, adrenals, or any number of other parts. And yes, that includes your sexual organs too! The Chiropractic Life Center gets pretty busy and the biggest downside is the fact that it is first come, first served.

They ask you to make an appointment, but that appointment means nothing. You have to wait your turn every time. It is not fast, so be prepared to wait your turn. After your adjustment you will feel better and live in a healthier body too.
