Great center. I went with upper back pain due to work and one of the chripactors adjusted me in no time. pain went away for a long time. I'll be going again and I recommend that you guys too.

I went to Uptown wellness with severe back pain, I had picked something up and was having sciatica and sharp pain in my legs. I went to this clinic and was seen on three occasions. I saw two chiropractors Dr. Whittney and Dr. Arno. In 3 visits, all the pain that I had come in with had went away. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and I had no injections or any other procedures.

Got sickityw sick and came here and made me feel alive again. After treatment i felt a whoosh off energy and ready to slay. Now i'm the only slay ready person and dussy wussy's bussy feelings on fleek. Come to uptown Wellness and you'll feel the same. #slayready

The clinical equivalent of factory farming. During my first visit the exasperated chiropractor said they didn't have time for a full evaluation, that it was the end of the day and they were running behind. Understandable if I had been late, but I was on time, and I was in pain, so I was hoping to receive better care. I find the person who works the front desk to be terse toward the clients, and rude to the other workers. I will not be returning, and do not recommend this Wellness Center if you have an opportunity to seek healthcare elsewhere.

I have encountered the weakest chiropractors. One small pop on both sides of my neck and they could never get my back a crack. Also, when looking over MRI the Drs weren't able to explain anything that was showing. (Pain management elsewhere explained everything w detail). Front desk girls were always moody as if their sh** don't stink. Diana on the other hand was great and attentive. That's why they deserve that one star.

Dr. Paredes has been treating me since 2008, due to chronic back issues. If you're looking for a chiropractor, look no further! She's a breath of fresh air. I always look forward to seeing her. I highly recommend Dr. P. I send all my family and friends to her when they have an musculoskeletal issues. Dr. P has warm healing hands. She has excellent bedside manner.

She's attentive, caring, compassionate, and is there to help me reach my optimal health goals. I am looking forward to having her treat me when I become pregnant, and eventually treating my little ones.

Wanted to get some back relief but they didn't do a full back. Only worked on upper back on first time, barely cracked my back. At most when he was cracking my back and neck for a minimum of 5 mins. 5 mins talking, and 10-15 mins on pulsating sticker pads. Second visit, yesterday, the female chiropractor was NOT able to crack my neck or back . Took her about 5mins.

Then she places the pulsating sticky pads. Also they had no notes/ history or complaints on my first visit (a month ago). Definitely looking somewhere else where to get proper back relief. This is definitely a place where the business and insurance benefit more than the actual patient based in the little time the chiropractor is in the room and the relief I had. 75-80%of their service is applied from a machine instead of the chiropractors actual hands. This place was convenient but not what I need!

I went to my first adjustment EVER w/ some nerves but everyone was so kind and reassuring. I truly had the best experience. Stephanie in the front was AMAZING She was so attentive & sweet, a true gem really. Dr. Fig was awesome! He had the best personality and made me feel at ease. He explained everything he was doing as it was happening which kept me relaxed.

My session was quick; I was in & out. I will definitely becoming back to see Dr. Fig very soon. 20/10! I don't know why I waited so long to see a chiropractor. Thank you guys!

Dr. Ali is the best doctor they've had. I schedule the 9am appointment because of work. Often, like today, I am not seen on time. I have the first appointment and the doctor is late. Today I wasn't seen until 9:30. I'd like to say this is the first time it's happened, but it's becoming the norm. Time to find another chiropractor. BTW, the massage and acupuncture are great!

Best facility and customer service experience ever! Everyone here is so kind and understanding very knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming for an adjustment soon.

I've been going to Uptown Wellness seeing Dr. Paredes for years. She's great! Well, recently she left to start her own practice elsewhere and when I called I wasn't aware of this, in fact I was never told this. I was told she was "on vacation" and they "weren't sure when she'd be back" when I asked to make an appointment in a week or two instead. I've heard from others that they were given different excuses for her not being there such as "she hurt herself".

I was hurting and I went in to be treated by someone else. The treatment was good, but why lie to your patients? When I went to book my follow-up and asked for an appointment once Dr. P was back they finally came clean and told me she was no longer with them. A quick google and I've found her new office and now have my follow-up back with her, but the deceit here is not an ok way to operate your business. UPDATED RESPONSE: Unfortunately your timeline doesn't line up with what I was told as I was given this information only yesterday when I made my appointment, which by your timeline of being told a few days ago, you would've already known, yet I was still told this, and only after I tried to schedule a next appointment, but wanted to wait for to be back for that appointment was I told today.

I don't wish any harm to your business, but I am unhappy with the dishonesty. I would've left and followed Dr. P regardless because I like my doctor, and I understand you wanting to mitigate the loss of clients to your practice, but unfortunately this was not the way to do so.

What's going on with the Uptown Wellness Center? It's changed drastically and not for the better. My wife and I have been enjoying the Chiropractic and Massage treatments for several years. Today we had a rude awakening. Today my wife and I each scheduled a hour massage. Her appt. was for 2:30 and mine with immediately after at 3pm. When my wife first arrived, she was among several other people who were waiting outside - the office was still locked at 2:30.

About 5 minutes later, someone opened the door and my wife waited in line with everyone else to sign in. After a few minutes, she got out of line to remind the receptionist that she was already late for her 2:30 massage appt. She was told to return back to the line and wait until she was called. When she finally got to see the masseuse around 2:15, she only received about 15 minutes of massage then the masseuse started getting ready for her 3pm appointment.

My wife reminded the masseuse that she had paid $30 for a hour massage but had only received 15 minutes. When I complained to the receptionist (Laura), who is also the Office Manager, Laura told me that I was wrong and that my wife had actually received the 25 minutes of massage. That's not true, she lied. How is this possible since the office was still locked at 2:35 and there was a large group of people in line ahead of my wife?

This is not right. Anyone who pays for services should receive them. How would you feel if you paid $30 for a hour massage but only receive 15 minutes? If complaining to Laura, the Office Manager didn't work. Who else can I talk to? Are the owners of "The Wellness Center" concerned about customer satisfaction? I need for Laura's boss or Owner(s) to call me to discuss this incident. If I don't hear from them, I think it's important that I warn others via Social Media, that management doesn't care about you. This is not right.

Been going to Uptown Wellness for some time now using both their massage and chiro services. My massage therapist, Jennifer, is very knowledgeable and always able to release all the tensions on my upper back. I always book a chiro treatment following the message session with Dr Ali, who is well experienced with his adjustment techniques. I just feel like a new person everytime walking out of the practice!

I would totally recommend Uptown Wellness to anyone who seeks an exceptional chiropractic and massage services! The only downside is that they do get busy so I always call a few days before to book an appointment.

Disorganized and irresponsible front desk. I called inquiring about acupuncture services. I wanted to make sure my insurance was taken at this location as well as wanting to know what type of coverage and payments I was expecting to make before going in. It has now been 3 weeks of me trying to follow up on the information as they keep loosing my personal information, giving information for other services I did not request and they have never contacted me as they kept saying they would.

They should be more responsible with sensitive customer information and follow up on a timely manner. Due to covid shutdowns good customer service is more important than ever for ensure customer safety and comfort in order for businesses and to survive. I am extremely disappointed.

Love this place helped my daughter with her severe back pain. acupuncture to chiropractor all is good and helpful and the staff is amazing.

Dr. P has taken care of 4 generations of my family over the last 2 decades. She is professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable. She has supported our kids with sports injuries from soccer, softball, base ball, and wrestling. Literally all Sports Medicine and Chiropractic needs my grandmother, aunts, Uncles, my friends, siblings, children and coworkers have I recommend her! The best!

Normally, I meet doctors who aren't willing to really listen to what type of pain I am in. I suffer from really intense migraines that come with nausea, but Dr. Ali was amazing and addressed the issue with knowledge of what could be causing my symptoms! Within just my first visit, i felt extreme relief within my jaw, neck and back! Rachael, one of the nurses, helped as well and she was so nice! The recommended treatment did just the trick and I will be coming back next week!

I purchased some massage therapy session which were great! Then I was convinced to purchase some chiropractic session. The chiropractor is a joke. Probably spends 5-10 min per patient, says his script which you can hear is the same for each patient being serviced before you, and then just puts you on a muscle stimulator or rolling table. States he will call back in a month to follow up and see how your doing, never does.

After watching some other chiropractors online and how they conduct their sessions. this chiropractor seems to just knock out the appointment/visit as fast as he can and then onto the next one. Doesn't seem to really work on the patient or target specifics. just a quick general adjustment and off to the next patient.

Okay, this place has been around forever. I like it. They are very nice and helpful, it's a busy office. Four stars.

My ex-boyfriend recommended Dr. Paredes to me. He's my ex for a reason though, so I take any recommendation from him with a grain of salt. He offered to pay for my visit though so I took him up on it. I have to say, I'm definitely making him pay for another visit. Thanks Dr. Paredes!

I was suffering with migraines and neck pain for weeks. I searched online for the closest chiro thinking that might bring me some relief BUT I realized that I could see an accupuncturist so I went in for treatment and met Kevin. Wow! Has my life forever changed! Kevin is absolutely gifted with a healing hand. He is careful and thorough. Exact! Just on my 1st visit alone I knew I had stumbled into something wonderful and I treasure it!

I couldn't be any more grateful for having crossed paths with such a good Dr.! I have no more migraines! If something is bothering me like a stiff neck- I go in with complaints and leave happy and at ease. Accupunture is the only treatment I welcome with open arms. Eastern medicine is golden!

I fought the VA to be here, I referred my 95-year-old grandmother here. You should come here too. They have amazing staff, atmosphere and they strive to make your whole self feel better. I received chiropractic care as well as massage therapy work and acupuncture. I will continue to go here for as long as the VA allows it. I love this place

I threw out my back 2 weeks ago and WOW what an improvement after seeing Dr. Paredes. She adjusted me and gave me back therapy. Jonathon was my massage therapist and he was very professional. He had me point out where I needed the most attention. Thank you to the friendly staff as well. Edith G.

I come here for acupuncture. The woman is very knowledgeable and comforting which was important to me since I was nervous about all the needles! Lol

This place is great! I been a patient here for several years for chiropractor. I have nothing negative to say they helped me out and made me feel better Everytime!

I been having lower back pain for about two weeks now and my wife pushed me to see a chiropractor, so I made an appointment with Dr. Delicia Paredes and came out pain free, I just can't believe how good she is because I'm a 6'1 310lb man. My experience at this location has been fantastic. Mostly because my massage therapist Lore is amazing at what she does. she listens she address body your issues a true professional and cares about her customers. I loved the way she would target my muscular tightness. Good communication because she tries to explain that one or two sessions won't resolve your problems.

The manager is fantastic too she went above and beyond to satisfy and take care of a client. She called me and offered me a great offer to continue my massage therapy. I wasn't impressed with the front desk girl, she needs more training when addressing customers needs. For example of someone is asking a question. Stop what your doing and look at them and address there questions. Your work will always be there multi tasking when speaking to customers is unprofessional.

I started here at uptown wellness about 2 months ago. I started with adjustments & massage. Dr Ali is amazing and I always feel so much better when I leave. Recently I started fertility acupuncture with Judy. all I got to say is she has an amazing hand and I hardly feel the needles. I have yet to be pregnant but the relaxation I get while I'm needled and when I leave is amazzzing! Judy definitely knows what she's doing. I am now addicted to accu. it helps me relax and feel focused when I leave. I'll keep u up to date of the day I find out I'm pregnant

I have had the opportunity to experience their chiropractic, acupuncture and massage services. Everything was wonderful. If I walked in with a migraine I walked out without one. I do recommend everyone and every service they offer.

I first went for the chiropractor which was excellent. They treated me very well And always friendly. I have also had acupuncture and now a massage which was excellent. I will continue to go and enjoy their services

Dr. Urteaga (My chiropractor) is very awesome at what he does. He's able to address each and every issue that you explain to him. He is able to help me improve my pain levels with both my wrist, shoulder, and back. He is able to crack and move the bones back into place. Also giving directions with minimal exercises and understands the soreness that comes with minimal exercises as well when other physicians did not understand at times.

My Insurance covers 30 visits out of a year with $10 copays. I was lucky enough to be informed by a friend of mine in regards to these benefits. There's a lot of patients that comes to this visit; however, you still get inside fairly on time within 10-15 minutes to see the chiropractor. Appointments usually are 40-60 minutes depending on what they're correcting. Scheduling visits isn't too difficult and there's plenty of time to schedule visits whenever you need to schedule a visit. Parking is on the backside of the building up the mini hill.

So being the broke college student that I am, I decided to purchase their $30 groupon for a deep tissue massage. I called to make appointment and got scheduled in for later that day (great!). Reading past reviews, I arrived a little early to do the paperwork so it wouldn't cut from my massage time, but it didn't make a difference, the massage was still only 50 min. It's important to note that the receptionist and masseuse were very friendly.

The room however was kind of small and unwelcoming (see picture). There were also multiple times where my masseuse would sit on the rolling chair while massaging me (that was a first). The massage itself was pretty mediocre at best.no rhythm, form, she used only one hand for most of it (might have been texting), used lotion like a gazillion times because it would only last like 10 seconds, moved around me in a rolling chair which was pretty loud.just an overall poor massage experience.

I may have just had a poor experience, but I do not think I will be coming back to this location, even with their coupon. As a side note: Parking was pretty difficult to pull into, but that's not their fault, just another hassle.

This place is great! my fiance and I had decided to get a massage before the wedding and man did we need it. Our therapists worked out all of our stress and got us set for the wedding not to mention all of the dancing that we did all night! we definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to just relieve all of their stresses of their life in just an hour :^

Uptown Wellness Center is convenient, affordable and fast for youth sports physicals. While other "quick clinics" charge $39 or more, the fee here is only $20 and no appointment is required. They are professional, thorough and even remembered my grandson from his football physical last year. It's nice to know there is a great location in Whittier that doesn't break the bank or make you jump through hoops.

My wife and I had great massages for our first visit. the next week I found myself needing a chiropractor. This has been the nest chiropractor I have ever been to. My wife and I have a great experience and appreciate the "wellness center mentality" incorporating massage, chiropractic, and physical therapy.

This was my first experience with the staff at Uptown Wellness Center in Whittier. As an Ambassador for the Whittier Area Chamber of Commerce, it is my desire to promote the businesses within our community. So, I bought a promotional offer for my fiance' and I to try the services at UWC. I can say this: The massage was amazing and the staff was courteous, professional and very helpful. Specifically, Maribel (the massage therapist) had the education, training and experience to know how to alleviate the pain from my sore muscles.

It's very rare to find a therapist who can effectively target the areas of concern and resolve them as much as humanly possible. In summary, I recommend UWC to anyone looking for a well-qualified Chiropractic, Massage Therapy or Sports Injury Rehabilitation Facility. Call and make an appointment today!
