In some ways, one could say that chiropractic care is a bit like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work together correctly. When building a house, if you tried to build your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually may even collapse.

My wife and I had taken a break from seeing a chiropractor and decided we needed a visit. We found Dr. Caughey online and decided to try their office out. Great facility and super staff. Dr. Caughey does a fantastic adjustment and spends plenty of time with patients explaining a treatment plan that he feels will work best for each of us. I highly recommend their office and Dr. Caughey!

Beware of deceptive business practices! Just greedy faux business owners. Be Cautious of the Dr Rees "Nurse" who will disappear into a Puff of Smoke like in he Wizard of Oz, after receiving your money. Not even sure if she is a "REAL" Nurse. No Patient Follow-Up from any staff member, schedules were disorganized and never on time, high turn-over of staff on a weekly basis, lack of quality medical care. Hope to dissuade others from experiencing a very expensive and disheartening experience. RUN from this PLACE!

Last summer I suffered a severe sciatica attack. There was one thing that I knew for sure: surgery would be a last resort for me. I went through treatment at Cool Springs Back and Neck Care and felt better immediately. My treatments began in late August and ended in early November. The tingling in my legs and pain in the buttocks are all but gone.
At the end of treatment, I learned some simple self-care techniques that I do at home whenever I feel that the pain is about to return. I am so thankful that I found Dr. Ries and his crew.

When I was a kid, I had chronic bronchitis that the doctor I had kept tossing antibiotics at, when I was older I had serious foot pain that the orthopedist gave me inserts for my shoes, along the way I ended up with a clicking jaw and actively annoyed myself when I ate. I discovered Eric Reis when I was working at Cool Springs - I had no interest in chiropractic and was pretty much convinced it was probably pretty good for people who had a couple of specific types of problems.
I got on the little dual-scale they had out and was putting a metric ass-ton more weight on the foot that hurt constantly. I do not believe i had mentioned this to me and he said I probably had foot pain. Yup. this sort of got me slightly interested in his sales gimmick. I checked with my ins and decided to go in, got some x-rays, saw what was going on with my back / hips, decided to go for it.
Maybe 8 adjustments later my foot stopped hurting. I did a couple more after that and it was pretty much set. He told me to come back somewhat regularly for maintenance, I figured I was fixed now and went along my merry way. A few months later I got hurt somehow and it was back related so I went back, I'd read the literature he had about how chiro cures everything and then some, I tended to doubt a lot of it thinking the placebo effect was most likely what was causing most of the amazing successes and generally discounting testimonials (such as this) as fans who hope that by convincing people they're better they will be better.
He adjusted my back, and for some reason I asked if he knew anything about clicking jaws as I was looking at having to have my jaw popped and reset to get rid of the clicking. He got the stupidest looking medical device I have ever seen that looked like a needle for a giant robot, put it on my jaw and whack. Fun pain times 15 or so. Jaw hurt for a couple of days, still clicked, he did it another time or two and the clicking went away.
Not sure if the clicking was just transitory as I was growing again (had a second growth spurt in my 20's) or if he fixed it. My mom had clicking jaw and it freaked me out as a kid. anyway, that's gone now. He seemed to push the idea that most ailments people had were basically because something in their body was not functioning correctly. Allergies were one of these.
I don't know if most of my allergies were helped by getting things popped, or the more likely scenario of I have been repeatedly injected by cats. I'll buy the exposure to allergens builds tolerance, but my bad cat allergy is gone, also the bronchitis is gone. however both these also can be treated with exercise and since I could walk normally I was getting more.
Who knows. he was a very nice guy, the only reason I don't go there lately is I work ~30 miles away. Anyway, I am pretty confident my foot pain and jaw popping were fixed by him, the rest is speculation based on claims in pamphlets.
