After practicing in New York for several years, Dr. Lichter and his wife relocated to Tampa in 1994 to take advantage of the warm weather and easier lifestyle. The practice was established in 1995 and has grown to include an associate chiropractor, two massage therapists and, in 2010 was moved into a custom built state-of-the-art facility to better serve the patients.
Christine was Dr. Lichter's original office manager when he opened in Tampa in 1995 through the end of 1998. After a 15-year break, she is back making our busy office run smoothly in an entertaining way. She also worked with Dr. Lichter in New York when he began his career as a chiropractor in 1990.

After a youth filled with athletic activities like hockey, baseball and basketball, Dr. Lichter developed lower back problems. I was in law school at the time. These back problems were interfering with my ability to focus on what I was doing. An orthopedist office took a couple of X-rays and told me nothing was wrong.

I saw Dr. Lichter for the first time over 10 years ago. He treated me for several conditions and I enjoyed greatly improved health under his care. I moved away from the area for over 10 years and have retired in Central Florida. I am so happy to have retired where I can continue receiving the best healthcare services possible and going into an office with the most positive and caring staff.
So glad to be back with Dr. Lichter! He and his staff educates and provides a very caring environment as you establish a lifestyle of improved health and well-being. I highly recommend Dr. Lichter and I drive over 1 1/2 - 2 hours to feel comfortable in knowing he will provide me with the BEST healthcare possible.

Dr. Lichter is extremely knowledgeable and is sure to explain your situation every step of the way. My wife and I visited Dr. Lichter's office after we were rear-ended. He and his staff were extremely accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable from the moment we walked in to the lobby. It was very comforting to know exactly what the next step was going to be throughout our several visits.
Aside from being very professional Dr. Lichter was genuinely interested in learning more about us as patients and as people, which lead to he and I having a few discussions on hockey as we are both big hockey fans. I really can't recommend him enough!

I was a bit skeptical to try chiropractic care but had been in chronic pain in my lower back and a major back surgery had been recommended. At that point I decided to be open minded and give it a try since I felt I had nothing to lose. I feel so blessed to have found this practice. Not only have Dr Lichter and Assoc helped me avoid surgery and take control of my chronic back pain, they have given me the tools to help myself through exercises and education.
I also did not expect the decrease in my chronic migraines and trigeminal neuralgia pain and I didn't realize how much cervical misalignment was playing a role in these conditions. The Dr.'s and staff are like a caring family who make you feel like more than just another patient and always ask how you are doing and greet you with a smile.

I am a big fan of Dr. Lichter & his staff. They are professional, courteous & friendly. They have helped me over the years with a number of health issues and are always working to help me maintain good balance and health. What I really appreciate are both their efforts to educate me on the numerous options available through them and elsewhere to help me maintain a healthy lifestyle as well as their flexibility to accommodate my ever-changing schedule.
On more than one occasion, when I am dealing with a particular issue or problem and have needed an adjustment or other treatment, I have been able to get right in without any kind of extended delay. When you are in pain, the ability to get to seek 'immediate' relief is very helpful and much appreciated! I cannot recommend West Bay Chiropractic, the doctors and staff highly enough, they are all 'good people' and always have the best interests of their patients as their number one priority!
