From a lifetime of experience I can confidently say HealingWave is without reservation an exceptional healthcare practice with the most professional, capable, caring and personable team. In fact, over the past several years I've referred many acquaintances, friends and family and I can honestly say all have had positive experiences, some experiencing dramatic improvements, and most continuing with ongoing regular treatment.
After an accident in my twenties I suffered from spine related chronic illnesses and always struggled to manage both physically and mentally. In the last thirty years I've worked with many GP's, specialists, physios, chiropractors, psychologists, and personal trainers. I've tried many strategies and therapies such as physiotherapy, Yoga, Tai Chi, remedial massage, acupuncture, counselling, mindfulness, meditation, swimming and gym strength training. However, l can honestly say for me it's been the quality chiropractic care at HealingWave that has enabled me to rise above and overcome my problems and struggles.

Had a knee issue, local discomfort around my knee, after having my spine manipulated I experienced intense pain unlike I had never experienced before in my life in my other leg starting in my hip and shooting down my leg all the way to my ankle, I advised the chiropractor of this only to be told that's normal it will pass and to continue treatment never being manipulated by a chiropractor before I excepted the advise and continued getting treatments following the 8 session "Treatment Plan" to the point where I couldn't cope with the intense constant pain, I couldn't get comfortable and laying down made it worse, I advised the chiropractor I am going to see my GP, he prescribed me OxyContin, I had never needed anything like that before In my life he sent me for a CT scan turns out my Disc was herniated from the manipulation, the nerve was compressed running down my leg, it's now been months and I'm slowly recovering no more OxyContin.
I called and advised that I wouldn't be continuing my treatment as my GP had advised me to cease treatment immediately, they just accepted that no questions asked, Then a month or so down the track I was called to see how I was, personally I believe they where only calling to get another appointment, But when I advised them of the results of the CT scan report I was told that the chiropractor would call me, well that's been months now and not one call.
By the way my knee pain on my other leg what I originally went to them for was not resolved by the manipulation. I was advised by other medical practitioners to make my complaints official but to be honest I was just so disappointed in my treatment from the start I just wanted to put it behind me but I want to be heard now so here's my experience and I have pain in my spine and leg still occasionally I'm very cautious about lifting anything now.
I paid several hundred dollars for the treatment plan, the worst investment I have ever made and the unpredictable reoccurring discomfort and anxiety worrying about lifting now only serves to remind me of the whole unpleasant experience.
