Dr. Russel is amazing! When I first went for my appointment I was scared. I couldn't even stand up and had never been to a chiropractor before. Dr. Russel is amazing at making you feel comfortable and making adjustments an enjoyable experience instead of a scary one. I highly recommend seeing him for any and all chiropractic needs!

When I was three years old I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia(TN). To summarize extremely briefly, TN is severe facial and head pain. It can be exasperated by even the smallest pressure or movement in or on the face, such as: brushing your teeth, applying makeup, wearing glasses, a light breeze blowing across your face, a kiss on the cheek, etc.
This is a chronic condition that has no cure and is very hard to treat as all patients, and their responsiveness to said treatments, vary greatly. All this having been said, I would like to let you all know what has helped me more than anything. I started going to Parkhurst Chiropractic in elementary school and continued going regularly until I graduated high school. Chriopractic care helped me get through all of those school years, but I hadn't realized quite how much until my first year of college.
When I went off to college I stopped seeing Dr. Karla, that's when my health began to decline even more. In 2016 I had brain surgery to try and decompress the nerve that sent pain signals to my head and face. It was unsuccessful, and lead to many life threatening complications. In 2017 I had a neurostimulator implanted into my head and chest to try and control the pain, this also failed and lead to many complications.
After these operations my health was at an all time low, I began to see Dr. Karla regularly again and use more natural means of pain relief. In addition to the chiropractic care I was receiving before college I was introduced to Cervical Spinal Decompression Therapy and cupping. These therapies combined have been more successful than any other technique I've tried. I have been in and out of hospitals my entire life, and I have never gotten as much pain relief as I do when I go to Parkhurst Chiropractic.

My 6 month old daughter had a very visible forward and side tilt to her neck (Torticollis). I kept thinking she would outgrow it but it just kept getting worse. Dr. Brian was so great and so attentive with our infant. After only 3 weeks of treatment there is no more tilt, her head is now positioned perfectly straight. I couldn't be happier with the care provided by everyone at Parkhurst Chiropractic!

I have been coming here for about 6 years and had great success. The staff has been so quick to help and treat me well. Dr. Jeremy and Dr. Matt have able to help me with my fitness journey, staying healthy and pain free. I used to suffer from migraines as well and I have had less then a handle in the last few years!

I initially sought treatment at Parkhurst Chiropractic for pain during my second pregnancy. Dr. Karla was amazing and regular adjustments kept my discomfort in check - she was truly a lifesaver, especially those last few weeks! When my daughter was born, Dr. Karla and I noticed that she favored her right side and realized she could not turn her neck all the way to the left.
She started forming a flat spot and was uncomfortable while nursing - creating a lot of frustration for baby and momma! Dr. Karla referred my daughter to Dr. Brian and within a few visits her head movement was almost completely resolved, nursing starting to go much better, and her sleep habits improved, as well! I was initially nervous about allowing such a small baby to be adjusted, but Dr. Brian talked me through each step and even demonstrated his techniques on me first, so I would be comfortable with the process.
I honestly cannot imagine what we would have done without the adjustments. Even my husband, who was highly skeptical, sees the difference and I even overheard him telling our family how much a of a difference it's made. For anyone considering chiropractic care for themselves or their children, I highly recommend Parkhurst Chiropractic. Having been to other chiropractors in the past, I am glad to say this one is friendly, caring, and professional and I can't imagine going anywhere else!

My daughter had her first ear infection when she was 4 months old. I was really hesitant to put her on antibiotics, and I should've trusted my instincts. Two different types of antibiotics did not fight off the infection. I had heard about Dr. Brian's success with infants suffering from ear infections from my sister, who brings her 3 kids in for adjustments regularly.
I brought my daughter in to see Dr. Brian and after just one adjustment and cold laser session, the improvement was definite! What a relief! Dr. Brian is so understanding and really listens to what's going on with my baby. I have continued to bring her in and am so happy with the results!
