Originally from a small town in the southern tier of New York, Dr. Kris Peterson is a third-generation Chiropractor who graduated from Life University in Atlanta with a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic.
At Kindspine Chiropractic Center, in the heart of Atlanta, GA. we specialize in Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care. These are the only two vertebrae between which there is NO DISC. The absence of the intervertebral disc allows for a greater range of motion. Because of this increased range of motion, these segments are much more likely to misalign, causing nervous system interference at the level of the brain stem.
During the first part of your initial consultation, Dr. Peterson will spend time carefully reviewing your health history and understanding any symptoms you may be experiencing. In order to do so, we ask that you download and complete the new patient form(s) (below) prior to your first visit. If available, please also bring a copy of any CTs, X-rays, and other relevant test results.
Computed infrared thermography is a medical technology that is FDA approved as a neurodiagnostic procedure used to detect interference in the nervous system. This is a safe, painless, and reliable diagnostic test that measures the infrared heat emitted from the body's surface without the use of radiation.

Dr. Kris is wonderful in his professional manner and in helping me understand what HE understands about how my body is working and healing. He is a kind man who is both proficient in what he does, and a continuous improvement doctor -- always learning for the benefit of us both. The office is calming and comfortable, and Stacy is lovely and compassionate at the front desk!
Upper Cervical Chiropractic is very different. I have been using regular chiropractic with excellent practitioners, using AK and other cool detection routines, since 1981, and this has been my primary health care support system. I don't use regular medical. I also use nutritional supplements, meditation, and my own transformation system for uncovering and permanently changing/removing stress patterns.
The advantage to the upper cervical work for me has been new methods for improving my balance, and getting more "communication and healing" between my brain and the rest of my body -- which has been compromised by both my structure and my long time exposure to fungus and mold. The investment is producing a good return. Thanks Dr. Kris!

I spent lots of money on MRI, CT scans, multiple flexion/extension X-rays/MRI, neurosurgeons, neurologists, and had no answers as to why I was getting worse and declining still. When I visited Dr. Peterson he gave me the most thorough medical examination I've ever received in my life. So many tests, neurological testing, and X-rays he finally found what all the other doctors missed that was causing all of my horrible problems.
I am forever grateful for Dr. Peterson's expertise. I also HIGHLY recommend Dr. Peterson for anyone who's been struggling with problems, getting worse from a car accident, or that have had many tests with no answers.

I herniated a disk in my lower back in my early 20s that no amount of rest or physical therapy was able to remedy. Someone from a gym I was having to cancel because of the pain recommended Dr. Kris. I had not been into chiropractic medicine prior to that, but I figured I had nothing to lose. Within a few months I was lifting, running, etc. with no pain whatsoever.
He was very upfront about what he was doing and the fact that not all problems could be fixed with this type of work, and I appreciated that honesty. Fortunately, mine was one of the issues that could be helped. Ever since then the worst pain I've had may be a day or two of soreness. I cannot recommend Kris enough.

Wow what an awesome experience! Dr Peterson was pleasant and professional, he explained everything to me, took x rays and showed me where my issues were. Dr Kris has changed my life for the better! He focuses on upper cervical adjustments and I've never consistently felt this good. With x-rays and hands on adjustments, my trigeminal neuralgia has basically disappeared, my migraines and frequent headaches have dwindled in number, and my chronic lower back pain is gone. I 1000% recommend Virginia Hill Chiropractic!

Kris Peterson DC 8:35 AM (2 hours ago) to me Dr. Peterson is progressive in his approach to wellness. He is passionate about Upper Cervical Chiropractic and is very thorough in his explanations about what you will experience and why UCC works. He also has an awesome "chill out room" with calming music, zero gravity chairs that prepare you for the exam/adjustments. Lastly, he sings, hums and is generally one of the most upbeat people I know. He makes the experience of healing a great one.

Been seeing Dr. Kris for over a year now. He is very thorough and takes the time to explain what and why he is doing. I enjoy coming in for visits and feel my health has improved because of it. He is a little different than other chiro's that I've experienced but I would absolutely recommend him to anybody with pain or just looking for improved health overall.
