I love this place. Dr. Alter has greatly helped me to get to place of almost normalcy. I have neck pain with bulging discs that I was about to see a physical therapist with, but I'm glad I took a chance on him. I wasn't able to wash my hair or keep my head up for long and I had such pain in my hands b/c of my neck. I cried the first time he told me all that was wrong.

But now I can move better, wash my hair, take fewer breaks when trying to do ADLs. I'm really grateful. The staff are so kind too and very accommodating. I really like Yami and Haley. They are so sweet. If you are skeptical, just try them with a consultation and take it from there. He talks a little fast but he knows exactly what he's saying and why. I think it's because he wants you to focus on the treatment and not so much what's wrong with you so you can have a more positive outlook. Thank you guys so much.

I have known Dr Alter for over twenty years and have been fortunate to call him my friend. Recently I visited his office and was very impressed on the efficiency and thoroughness of his office. His office staff are top notched and are very friendly. As a fellow chiropractor I was able to watch Dr Alter adjust and care for few of his patients while visiting there and was impressed how caring he is and effective his treatments were. If you live in the Delray beach area I encourage you to see Dr Alter to see if he may help you, you will not find a more efficient, effective chiropractor in that area.

Dr. Alter and staff at Alter Chiropractic, Haley and Yami are absolutely amazing! I couldn't recommend this business enough from the genuine hospitality from the moment you walk in, to the authentic care you get from Dr. Alter! If you ever are thinking about going to the chiropractor, this office should be the only one you should even consider.

I was never a firm believer in chiropractors.this was mostly due to our wonderful medical system saying they don't work. Boy, was I wrong. I went to Dr. Alter as a last result, before signing up for more evasive procedures (operations or epidurals). Dr. Alter listened to my story and level of pain, took the proper X-rays, and made a plan of action based on his years of experience.

Within 4 weeks, I was back to normal, once again able to walk without major pain. This is with a L5 disc that other doctors told me was not repairable. If you are looking to try something different, and want a doctor who listens to you and understands your body, pick Dr. Alter. Don't give up in 2 weeks, go at least 4 weeks, and I promise you'll see results.

I now go once a week, for maintenance, and I haven't felt better in my back in decades. I am continuing my maintenance plan until end of times. Thank you, Dr. Alter, for understanding the human body and how to fix us. Much love!

Such a straightforward, no nonsense place for my back problem! X-rays right away to diagnose the problem. Then really streamlined treatment process. Dr. Alter is super knowledgeable and helpful. And the decompression therapy stretches and relieves like nothing I'd felt prior. Appointments always on time, easy to change if needed, super nice and helpful staff. If only I could go everyday!

Two weeks ago lower back pain hit me hard. I could not roll over in bed, I was hurting real bad. I made an appointment with Dr. Alter and will be going for my 10th treatment this afternoon. My pain level has gone down from 10 to 3 over these ten visits. This Doctor is professional and extremely good at what he does. I am on Original Medicare and I am also a retired insurance agent who specialized in Medicare Supplements and Medicare Advantage.

While Medicare does not cover X-Rays (see page 34 of Medicare & You 2022) it covers manipulation of the spine by a Chiropractor. Doctor Alter has to be one of the best at providing these services. I recommend him to anyone in pain.

Luckily I found Alter Chiropratic office after I was leaving Home Depot. My first visit was a walk in visit and I had a scheduled visit this morning. Both of my adjustments were exceptional and I highly recommend Dr. Alter if you ever need a Chiropractor. His adjustments are as good or better than any other Chiroprator I ever visited.

I am visiting my best friend who goes to Dr Alter religiously. I have been to chiropractors before but this practice is special. He genuinely wants to help and he shows you what he's working to fix. This is your dude. I feel like a million bucks.

I've been seeing Dr. Alter for a few weeks now for a bulging disc in my mid-back and a bone spur in my neck. He really takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer any questions you may have. I've never let anyone adjust my neck before because I was scared of complications but I trusted him and I notice a decrease already in my pain just after a couple of weeks.

He takes x-rays first to find out what's going on. I've been to other chiropractors that don't read my prior mri or X-ray results and don't order any of their own. Therefore I highly Recommend giving Dr. Alter a try if you struggle from any kind of facet disease, back herniations, bulging discs, or just regular back pain as he works with you to give you the best possible results. Hayley at the front desk is very kind and will help you if you need to reschedule.

Dr Alter and his team have helped me tremendously over the years. Having worked in the Software industry for many years, my posture was poor and started causing me problems in my mid 40s. Added to this, I sometimes "overdo it" at the gym. If you are unfamiliar with these types of services, don't expect an immediate fix - all they can do is adjust you to allow your body to heal itself.

That said, I always feel better after a visit, but it takes time. The premises are immaculate and filled with modern equipment. His staff are always welcoming and efficient. Dr Alter is very experienced and easy to talk to - he will make you feel better!
