We haven't been posting as much on social media the past few months due to some daunting health concerns which we have been working hard to overcome. In October, I had blood clots in my leg. This is unusual for someone my age and who is as active as I am. My family doctor drew blood and noticed an irregularity in the liver. She sent me for an abdominal ultrasound which revealed suspicious masses so I went for further tests. I was hospitalized, then went for rehabilitation to re-form brain pathways for the muscles on my left side which had been effected.

After 40 years as a rough frame carpenter my back was in need of relief from the everyday pain that I was experiencing.
