Auto accidents come in many different forms. Some have very severe damage and some have very minimal damage. Sometimes symptoms are noticed immediately after a collision and require immediate medical attention. Sometimes it can take a few days or even weeks to notice symptoms associated with the accident.
City Chiropractic offer DOT physical exams! Dr. Michael T. Johnson and Dr. Jacob J. Bohnen are trained and certified to perform DOT exams. They are on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners and are current with all guidelines that the FMCSA has set forth regarding DOT physicals. The DOT physical exam certifies that a driver is physically, emotionally, and mentally capable of safely operating a commercial motor vehicle.
City Chiropractic is Certified Drug Screening Professionals (CDSP), Certified Alcohol Screening Professionals (CASP), and Certified Breath Alcohol Technicians (BAT). City Chiropractic are a collection site for both DOT and non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Tests. They conduct drug tests for many reasons including pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, or return to duty.

Great place to get you DOT card. Dr. Jake does a good job and doesn't make you feel like he is there to fail you. If there is a problem he will let you no. I continue to go there when my DOT card expires. I was looking for a new place after the place my work used made you feel like they were always there to make sure you didn't pass.

I was sent there for a pre-employment drug screen. When I got there I wasn't greeted warmly by the receptionist, but later saw her friendliness when male customers were available. They had no record of my chain of command since it wasn't on paper although they could locate it in their emails. I was offered no additional assistance but just told I would have to go elsewhere for services.
Although later someone did come out to state they were on the phone with someone for assistance. I ended up calling customer service and located another location. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend going there, at least for drug screening as they dapple in other things like chiropractic services and others.

The first time I went to City Chiropractic was in 2011 and I was on a very consistent routine for a herniated L2 and L3. I was going every other day and seeing Dr. Mike, then 3 times a week, then it gradually faded out. Over the years I have revisited for flare ups, and EVERY TIME is the best experience ever! Today in 2021, it's still just the best place to go. Dr. Jake is equally as talented and effective and I hope more and more people keep giving this practice their business. I would give it 6 stars, not 5.

Dr. Jake and the staffs are very good people. Even though I didn't continue treatment here due to a busy schedule and an agreeable settlement with my auto injury attorney, my visit for evaluation was treated with respect and care. Dr. Jake is a good and I recommend him for anyone needing treatment for personal and/or auto accidents!

I've been here for DOT physicals, spinal adjustments and random drug and alcohol testing. In all three cases the staff has been courteous and professional. Dr. Jake takes his time on spine and neck adjustments (not that you'd want to rush that anyway) but it's greatly helped every time I've been here. Entirely worth every star.

City Chiropractic is conveniently located on University Ave in Northeast. The staff is very friendly and helpful throughout your recovery process. My back and neck pain melted away when I was introduced to the Cox Technic. Dr Jake is an expert at using this method to help you feel better. I'd highly recommend City Chiropractic to anyone who is currently experiencing pain, they'll make it go away!

City Chiropractic is the best! The staff is friendly and helpful throughout my experience there. Dr. Jake explained everything as he perform treatment which really helped since it was my first visit to a chiropractor. The staff was very informative about how to care for my back on my own so I left learning so much. If you want a friendly staff and without such hassle and wait, this is the place!
