Our mission is to provide quality musculoskeletal care, demonstrated through measurable results, that improves the lives of our patients. Since opening in 2000, we have been providing superior care with measurable results to our patients with musculoskeletal complaints. Our primary focus is treating back pain, neck pain and sports related injuries.
Irving Park Chiropractic is proud of the success we have had providing quality care and measurable results for our patients since 2000. Following are just a few of our success stories. Back Pain I've had on and off low back pain for years. X-Rays have shown that I have degenerative disc disease. I first came to Dr. Lazarowich because the pain was too bad to tolerate and I was walking crooked and hunched over. My treatment was gentle stretching, and low back manipulations. He also used muscle stimulation and heat to relax my back muscles.
Since 2000, Irving Park Chiropractic has been committed to providing physiotherapy, massage therapy and chiropractic care for patients in Chicago. Our focus is to apply clinical practice guidelines when possible and work with our patients to achieve the best sustainable results. In light of our commitment to results, in 2010 we became one of the first chiropractic practices to develop a Chiropractic Outcomes Database to document, track and analyze patient outcomes. This allows us to track the individual patient's progress against others with similar diagnosis and adjust treatment plans as required.
If you suffer from acute or chronic neck pain, then you know how painful and frustrating normal daily activities can be. Even simple tasks like driving and reading can become quite unbearable. In addition to disrupting your day, neck pain can also contribute to headaches, difficulty sleeping, shoulder or arm pain, muscle spasms, and chronic tightness in the upper back.

I've been going to this place for a while and Dr. Max is a life saver. His stellar treatments have helped me so much over the years. Also, I was afraid to go in because of Covid-19, but the office is taking really important and comforting measures to keep themselves and their patients safe. These measures include screening patients ahead of time, temperature checks (of both patients and themselves), frequent hand washing, sanitizing rooms and equipment after each patient, ensuring that only one patient is in each room at a time, and minimizing contact as much as possible. It was a huge relief to address my back pain and to feel like the space was being taken care of for everyone's health during these difficult times.

Since I began seeing Dr. Max, my physical condition has improved. When I first started seeing Dr. Max, my neck could not turn at all; it was that stiff. With chiropractic treatments, stim therapy, and massage therapy, my condition improved immensely. I continue to see Dr. Max for maintenance to keep the neck and shoulder pain and stiffness from returning.
The visits also seem to reduce my stress level and improve my breathing. Irving Park Chiropractic always had sanitization procedures for their equipment. With Covid-19, additional procedures have been added including patient temperatures check and patient hand washing upon arrival, social distance in the waiting room, and lag time between patient appointments. One of the benefits of a small practice during this Covid-19 time is less people in the space at one time. I highly recommend Irving Park Chiropractic.

I've been seeing Dr. Max for at least twelve years, and for twelve years, I've been receiving great care. Most notably, he's treated my neck and my back, where I previously experienced a lot of pain. But after some treatment, I came out feeling great, thanks to Dr. Max! Thanks to him, I always know where to go whenever I have pain in my neck or back.

I don't live in the city anymore.not even the same state. But I would drive the 3hours just to have Max adjust me again. I have not found another chiropractor that compares. I have been through two degenerative discs in my lumbar and one herniated disc in my neck. Max cared for both and I have had no issues since. I had various random injuries and oddities throughout my time in Chicago, Max was always able to fit me in and take care of whatever was happening.
Since I left Chicago, I lived in Wisconsin and now Michigan. I have seen 3 other chiropractors and they seem to just be going through the motions. Max is really a treasure in the world of chiropractic care. Do your self a favor and look no further. Go see Dr. Max!

I've been going here on and off since I moved to Chicago about a year and a half ago. Dr Max is wonderful. I've been to many different chiropractors over the years & I like him for many reasons. First he doesn't try to pressure you with a lot of big "plans" or force you to come so many times a week, like some chiropractors, he's super easy going & even if you don't have an appointment & he's technically not open yet, & he's there, he would be compassionate enough to see you.
He really has helped my back issues & doesn't take up too much of my time, as I'm super busy, he'll usually get me in & out in a half hour or so. Highly recommend this for your spine needs.

This was my first ever experience at a chiropractor. I was a bit nervous going into my first appointment but the staff here made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I came in with a horrible sharp pain in my lower back. After a couple appointments with Dr. Max my back is feeling much better. I would recommend anyone to come see Dr. Max and his staff they are amazing and very good at their job.

This place is the best! I've had a chronic lower back issue for years, and while it can be quite painful and debilitating when it acts up, Dr. Max always has me feeling back at full strength after just one or two short treatments. I always get in and out very quickly and they're very friendly and responsive. And unlike corporate chiropractic offices, they don't pressure me to book an extended series of treatments which would do nothing other than maximize their profits at the customer's expense. Can't recommend Irving Park Chiropractic enough!

This place is great! Dr. Max is really knowledgeable. He has helped me with the normal aches and pains in my back but has also helped me when it comes to running. He takes the time to listen to what the problem is and tries to narrow down how to best help the issue. The rates are very reasonable compared to other chiropractors I have seen. They also offer massage therapy here which is a huge plus!

I have been going to Dr. Max for several years now. I started going for a knee injury that was hindering my running/racing. Dr. Max helped me through that and I went on to run 10 plus races that year. I have been going back ever since. Dr. Max understands my training regimen and keeps me healthy through it. The massage team is great as well. If you are into endurance sports Dr. Max can help you stay tuned and in shape so that you can achieve your goals.

I was in a coma for a month, and in a hospital bed for three months. Of course my back was stiff. I had a little pain, too. I'm so much better now! I originally went in for a massage, but I'm glad I got the consultation too! I plan on taking my dad soon. The place is kind of far for me, but it's worth it!

A few years ago, I threw my back out and couldn't walk. I was a patient at National university's clinic, but I knew I couldn't ride that far. I got out the phone book and saw Dr. Max's ad and called. He had gone to National and had been trained by two men I knew well. I went. He was wonderful. No fancy treatments. A good old fashioned adjustment and electro stym.
And when he feels he's out of his element, he'll refer you out in a heartbeat. My daughter and I have been going to him for years now. He's the best and I highly recommend him.

Shhhh! I've been cheating on my old chiropractor with Dr. Max for more than a month now -- and I'm staying with him. Very personable, very thorough and very good. I first came because of a runner's special and told him of my calf pain. Three weeks later it was gone. Totally gone. He does adjustments the old-fashioned (i.e. right) way and goes out of his way to make sure you're fixed. And he's not obsessed with payments, just with working on people. Great place.

I went to see Dr. Max for the first time last fall because of ankle pain when I run. He fitted me for orthodics and also recommended an adjustment as my mis-alignment may have been contributing to my fallen arches. I've never felt better and am signed up to do numerous races this summer, which if it wasn't for Dr. Max I wouldn't be running at all. Thanks!
