I first came to Dr. Guarino way back in 2009 when I tweaked my back in a very, very painful way. They got me in super fast as I could not even breathe in fully without pain. Dr. G., with "x-ray hands" alone and just his instinct and experience, located the problem. I'd popped a rib head! OMG. He popped it back in. Super painful, but then I could breathe.

That was the beginning of over ten years of coming to him for everything from sore shoulders, ribs, back, whatever I had messed up. My latest reason for visiting? TMJ pain and shoulder issues. In one adjustment, the TMJ pain all but disappeared. The shoulder is a longer haul. He's very into education and explanation of what he's doing and why, so he's less "song and dance" and more of a "just the facts, ma'ame" type of personality, but still humorous. This, in my opinion, is a good thing.

He survived childhood scoliosis, so he totally gets the concept of your pain.and what it takes to get you on the road to recovery. He's the real deal, and simply a gifted healer who knows what he's doing. Oh, and yes, he really does look a lot like Dax Shepard! :

I came here several years ago after being rear ended and Dr. Guarino fixed me up. Recently injured two ribs and pulled my back so badly I couldn't stand so I came back. The Dr. had several different "moves" he used to adjust my back with my limited mobility. Creative ways to get it to adjust since I couldn't lay down normally. Within a day, I was walking regularly, within 2 days back to work and now about 3 weeks later (visiting 2-3 times a week) I feel better than I have in years. Michelle up front is sweet and efficient.

Both the Dr and Reception have a very calming mellow vibe which I appreciate so much. The next time I climb camelback, I'll shout from the top "YOU WON'T FIND A BETTER CHIROPRACTOR!" For all of the valley to hear.

Dr. Guarino is the best Chiropractor! He takes his time evaluating, and listening to your concerns. I went in for neck pain, and after the adjustment not only did my neck pain get better, my left side that I thought wasn't as flexible was suddenly as "flexible" as my right side! He adjusted me just right so everything is back in balance!

I have been going to this chiropractor for over a year now. He has been able to help every single time with my sciatic nerve issues. Even was able to help when I first got pregnant and had back issues. I've taken my mom to him, he was able to get rid of her lifelong dizziness with two adjustments of her neck. My bother-in-law now goes to him for his shoulder issues and my husband has gone to him due to his as well. Would definitely recommend.

I have been coming here for the last two years and just love the care this place has for their patients. Every time I have come in the Dr. correctly identifies the issues and adjust me so perfectly, that I leave in amazement, that so much pain can be caused from a minor tweaking of my bones. I felt like someone hit me with a bat to the lower back today and could barely hold my own body up. Instantly as soon as I was adjusted I knew he fixed me and an hour later I feel like I never had an issue. I hope Dr. Guarino find the fountain of youth, as I'm only 42 and have a lot more visits! Dr. Guarino showed true compassion and understanding towards my problem. He developed a wellness plan for me to heal. After a few visits my pain dissappeard and I feel great. As this was my first time visiting a chiropractor, I felt at ease with the entire process. The friendly receptionist handled all of the insurance paperwork and made that part of the process effortless.

The treatment rooms were comfortable and clean with nice jazz music playing in the background. Doctor Guarino is friendly and understands the issues of his patients. BackPro Chiropractic is the place you need to call.

I am a larger guy (6'3 210lbs) and did not see my condition improve after visiting this place. It also cost a tad bit more than what I'm used too relative to other places. I was able to book a same day appt which was nice. I called and gave my insurance info to lady at front desk. I asked her a ballpark figure of what the visit would cost.she said she couldn't tell me until I came in.

After waiting 45 minutes I saw the chiropractor who asked me some questions and gave some advice (probably the best part of my visit). He then took me to another room and used the muscle stimulator on me for ten minutes. After then he attempted to adjust me. He was not able to adjust my lower back, upper back, and could only get my neck to adjust on one side. Seemed like maybe he wasn't strong enough or just didn't try?

Again I've never had this problem and I go quite often to a chiropractor. I've been to a couple different chiropractors before and this has never been the case. After I was finished the lady at the front desk advised me my visit would be $80 with my insurance card.(usually pay $40-$50 per visit in the past and actually get adjusted). 3 days later and I feel worse than before, unfortunately. Will not be returning. I specifically would not advise larger/taller males and females. Hopefully this helps.

I have been a satisfied patient of Dr. Guarino's for many years and I highly recommend him for both chiropractic treatment and acupuncture. This is a very professional and efficiently run office. I always feel I have Dr Guarino's undivided attention - he's never rushed, he listens, and explains health-care issues in understandable terms. He is an exceptional chiropractic physician who always acts in the highest professional manner.

I have frequently recommended him in the past to family and friends and have never heard anything but praise for his care. I respect Dr. Guarino's care, skill, and judgment and am confident that the services he renders are always an appropriate level of care and service.

I had been to another chiropractor in the area and felt his idea of an office visit being: sign in, get on a table, be adjusted, pay and leave, not up to par. I noticed the Backpro sign a block from my home. I decided to give Dr. Guarino a try. What an amazing difference! From him I receive a thorough verbal consultation each visit to pinpoint whatever might be ailing me.

Then I receive 10 minutes of heat with the TENS machine. Before the adjustment he once again reiterates what's going on with my back so he will be sure to address problems in the process. His adjustments are personalized; not just another "body on the table" for a quick one-step-fits-all click click, you're done. Another amazing fact about Dr. Guarino: he can "feel" problem areas with his fingertips and zeros in on the tender areas as if he has ESP!

This doctor goes the extra mile to make sure you are adjusted to the very best of his ability and that you receive the relief you are seeking. He's not in it to sign you up for long-term contracts, he's there to heal you, get you feeling great ASAP, and on with your life. He is not just a chiropractor, he is a caring man; my husband (also a patient) and I consider him to be our friend!

Working with Dr. Guarino has completely turned my life around. I came in after having been to the ER and several specialists over several years who could not determine the source of my pain and Dr. Guarino was able to pinpoint the issue and create a treatment plan in just one visit. After three months of three day a week appointments I am no longer in daily pain and truly feel as though I have my life back!

Everything about my experience at BackPro Chiropractic has been wonderful. The office is lovely and incredibly accommodating. I have been so impressed by Dr. Guarino's depth of knowledge and true desire to help people. I can not recommend BackPro enough!
